Summery[]
A pirate gives Boomer and Brady a riddle to solve that supposedly will lead them to a magical coin. The puzzle is actually a trap to ensnare the brothers so the pirate can steal the royal treasure.
Plot[]
Brady and Boomer are in their bedroom. Brady announces that up until lunch, he has done nothing at all. When he says that he will continue to do that, Boomer calls him lazy and they continue their day. Just then, Mikayla meets the kings to tell them that it is time for their Mummy Defence Class. She tells the kings that the items in the castle are in fact housing weapons. The lamps holds machetes, and the pool ques can also be used as deadly bo staffs. During the presentation, Brady gets hit by Mikayla's staff, and the pain is also experienced by Boomer, who explains that there is a Twin Link, meaning that the other twin can sometimes feel the first one's pain. Mikayla gets curious and wants to explore the matter a bit, but Boomer sternly disapproves, saying "I know what you're thinking. Not gonna happen.".
Afterwards, the Kings decide to go to a pirate restaurant in the village. There, they meet a pirate called Two Peg, and his son No Beard, who tells them about a sort of treasure in the form of Wish Coins. At first, they are hesitant, but eventually decide to go look for the coins. The coins can only be found if one solves the clue that leads to the location of the treasure. Meanwhile, Mikayla is prevented to go to a beach party by Mason, who says that there are boys there. Mikayla counters by saying that he lets her fight mummies, but not go to a beach with boys. Mason says that Mummies don't try to dance with her. Mikayla simply replies with a short "You don't know that", before leaving. Later, the twins go to Mason, Mikayla and Lanny to show them the clue. Having a good laugh, they tell the kings that they have been tricked. Angered, the kings go to their bedroom and pout about the matter, until Boomer decides to look for the coins. Brady insists that he follow him, but Boomer rejects, once again taking up his wish for an underwear tree. Brady continues the quarrel and utilizes the Twin Link, hurting himself and thus causing pain to Boomer. Boomer eventually complies, and the two twins go to search for the treasure. Ultimately, the kings reach the spot where the treasure is said to be located. However, during their travelling, they stumble across Lanny, Mason and Mikayla. They confront Lanny at first, who lies and says that he was just having a little Midnight Walk, also including a shovel he brought along to seemingly lift weights. Boomer, however, is not tricked by the lie, saying that their cousin is going to make them a jungle jacuzzi, to which Lanny calmly confirms. Mason too tries to pull a lie, saying that he was checking where he had parked his canoe. Brady, however, makes him tell the truth, and Mason confesses that he wanted the Wish Coins to get the world's largest machete. Eventually, the quinto comes up with a deal, having the other three dig up the treasure in exchange for the kings not throwing them in the dungeon. They set the deal, but just after the first shoveling, a large cage made out of bamboo falls down on them, trapping them effectively. Two Peg, No Beard, and other pirates appear to reveal their plan: To take one king hostage and use him to gain access to the royal treasures. The chosen king is Brady, and they leave for the castle, but not before the twins have a heated argument about the matter of the two of them always sticking together. While Brady is taken to the castle by Two Peg, Boomer, Mason, Mikayla and Lanny try to find some kind of way to get out of the cage. While Boomer once again whines about his underwear tree, Lanny snaps and shouts at him, telling him it would be a very stupid wish, to which Mason agrees, saying that would be a wasted wish. Mikayla then scolds her father by taking up his own wish about a giant machete. Mason defends himself by saying that he just wants to make the world safer for his daughter, but Mikayla says that she wishes that Mason would stop seeing her as his little girl. Mikayla manages to trick No Beard, who she traps. Lanny gets freed from the cage and runs away. Boomer then finds a way out of the cage for the rest of them. Back at the castle, Brady and Two Peg try to open the royal vault, having no success. Brady delays the matter as much as possible, and it effectively keeps Two Peg out of the vault. However, Two Peg tricks Brady, asking for his birthday, which is also the code to the vault. Two Peg starts plundering, but Brady remembers what Mikayla told him, and takes one of the Lamp Swords. The two have a heated fight, but Two Peg gains the advantage. Just when all hope seems to be lost, Boomer, Mikayla and Mason gets into the royal chamber, where they start fighting Two Peg's pirates. They defeat the pirates, all the while Mason and Mikayla have some closure about Mason being too protective of Mikayla. Mason understands her point and decides to be less protective, and the two reconcile happily. |
